


Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of an office environment.The ideal person for this position has these traits and characteristics: manage event logistics, assist staff in preparing all collateral materials, and seek donations for specific events, as directed by UDIA colleagues.Assist with all meetings and events - oversee registration, schedule event meeting space,.Maintain adequate inventory and organization of office, printer, and copy machine supplies.Manage the UDIA credit card (P-card), keeping track of receipts, reconciling statements, paying invoices, etc.).Maintain internal records, contracts, reports.Write or draft correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.Prepare and/or process documents, review for accuracy and completeness.Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing U.S.Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and take minutes as directed.Coordinate and/or act as a liaison with other agencies, organizations, suppliers, etc., including attending the regular CCE business process meetings.Receive main line incoming calls and emails, greet visitors, take and relay messages, and respond to requests for information (providing information or directing caller/visitor to appropriate individual).Act as a resource to provide information or determine the most effective way of meeting the needs of Tribal leaders, community members, and UDIA leadership and staff.This position would be a key support to serve the interests of the entire State of Utah and its Tribal nations.Īs the Administrative Assistant, you will: The Division of Indian Affairs works with the eight Native American governments on State projects that either directly, or indirectly, affect them.
